FORT WORTH, Texas, December 19, 2024--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Perry Ginn, Regional Market President for Tarrant and Johnson County at American National Bank of Texas (ANBTX), one of the oldest and largest independently owned banks in the state, was recently awarded Tarrant County Bankers Association’s (TCBA) 2024 Banker of the Year. Ginn, who has more than four decades of banking experience, including more than 20 years with ANBTX, is the first ANBTX team member to win the distinguished award.

"We’re extremely proud of Perry and all the work he’s done in Tarrant County since becoming our Regional Market President for Tarrant and Johnson County nearly 20 years ago," said Robert Hulsey, President and CEO at ANBTX. "We’re excited to celebrate him and even more excited to watch him continue to grow the bank’s presence in and impact throughout one of our nation’s most vibrant and diverse regional economies."

Ginn first joined the bank in 2004 as a regional market president for Hunt County, a role he spent two years in before being appointed to Regional Market President for Tarrant and Johnson County in 2006. Since then, Ginn has helped the bank expand its footprint across Tarrant and Johnson County from one loan production office in Burleson to four locations in Burleson, Fort Worth, Mansfield and Hurst.

"I’m honored to be recognized as Tarrant County Bankers Association’s 2024 Banker of the Year, especially considering the number of talented banking professionals in the Tarrant County region," said Ginn. "This award wouldn’t be possible without our great team at ANBTX, and it serves as a culmination of all the hard work our Tarrant County team has put in over the past year. It’s a great way to end the year and something we’ll continue to build on as we head into 2025."
