As Chief Risk Officer, Ed provides leadership and oversight for our Financial Crimes, Compliance, Community Reinvestment Act and Community Development, Enterprise and Organizational Risk, Loan Review, Risk Management Governance, and Information Security functions.
With more than 30 years of financial services experience, Ed has a varied background in multiple areas, including: risk management, compliance, internal audit, financial analysis, and accounting. Most recently, he served as Managing Director and Head of Risk Programs at Texas Capital Bank. He has also held senior leadership roles with Texas Capital Bank, U.S. Bank, Wells Fargo, and other leading financial institutions.
Ed has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from University of Northern Iowa.
